At our last monthly meeting, the idea of a Yale golf outing came up.
Given the wonderful resource we all shared in the Yale University Golf Course (still ranked in the top 100 courses in America), there may be a good number of alums who would like to try their hand together at some of the Triangle’s many fine courses. If you would be interested in a day of golf and fellowship with other alums, and especially if you have access to a good course, please contact either Bill Dahl or Erik Hawkins.
The TYC always wants to be responsive to member interests. Recent examples of activities that have grown out of member input are our theater outings (including Jan. 31 at Playmakers in Chapel Hill), the book club (which now meets quarterly) and the idea of a golf outing mentioned elsewhere on the website. If you have an interest that you believe may be shared by other Yalies, please let us know. Even if it appeals to a fairly small number, we will provide what assistance we can in helping you make it happen. If it has interest for a greater number, then we can take an increasingly central role in organization and even financing.
Have you an interest you want to share with others? Do you want to develop an affinity group within the TYC, and find other members with similar interests. Email Bill or Erick (above), include your phone number, we'll talk, work it out and make it happen with a posting on this page.
